The hunt is on!

As most of you know we are actively looking for a place to open the school and proceed with our research on the impact that Body Tsunami has on Autistic children. The place should be quiet, discrete and offer a sense of safety, much like where we are today, but larger. Our target for the  school opening is in June. We will keep you posted!

We are fortunate in that several of you want to reserve your place in both the school and some of you want to have a child, nephew, and/or grandchild to be a part of the research. To answer questions relative to our general population, we will be submitting answers as a part of the Fourrier House newsletter.

We are excited about this next step and encourage you to continue to ask your questions!
Know that we will be interviewing for both venues once we move.

The first question that has come to us is about our school’s racial discrimination policy.

Below is our policy. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Also:
In recent years, many state departments of education and local school districts have taken steps to reduce bullying in schools. Fourrier House School of Massage and Research Center fully supports these efforts as bullying fosters a climate of fear and disrespect that can seriously impair the physical and psychological health of its victims and create conditions that negatively affect learning, thereby undermining the ability of students to achieve their full potential. Any student misconduct that falls under this anti-bullying policy, are subject to dismissal.

Any student in danger of termination can submit a written appeal for exception. Upon receipt of the student’s document, the director and faculty have seven days to consider their decision.

Student written grievances will be taken seriously, and every opportunity to resolve the grievance will be taken into consideration by the director. The student must sign and date the grievance document, and secure a signature and date from the director. Subsequent mediation will be held in private. If a grievance is not resolved to the satisfaction of the student, the student may contact the Texas Department of Health, Massage Therapy Registration Program.

Any student who is dismissed from Fourrier House School of Massage and Research Center for a violation of Nondiscrimination Policy And Student code of Conduct will be denied a refund of any amount of tuition.
